Jean Coldsmith Mental Health Fund - Financial Hardship Application

The Jean Coldsmith Mental Health Fund is designed to provide critical mental health services to uninsured students in crisis or who do not have access to mental health care through other means. The initial approval process provides funding for up to four sessions and can be extended for another six sessions. Students who need more than ten sessions are referred to Mental Health Recovery Services or the Hirschfield Center for continued care.

In some cases, insured students have extenuating circumstances that prohibit them from accessing mental health services. The financial hardship application is intended to support these kinds of students.

Please note family income information is required for this application. The FPE uses the affordable housing income guidelines as one component of the criteria to qualify.

All applications are shared with the counseling staff for approval. This allows us to best support students and identify other resources available for them. Applications are confidential.

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
